Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Velyune website, the Velyune: AI Makeup Artist iOS app, and related services. By using Velyune, you agree to these Terms.

1. Apple terms

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the mandatory Apple terms control for the iOS app.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If your jurisdiction requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use Velyune only with that permission and supervision.

3. License to use Velyune

Velyune grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the website and app for their intended purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Velyune and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.

4. Your photos and content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you submit. You grant Velyune and its service providers a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service, fulfill your edit request, and comply with law.

You are responsible for having the rights and consent needed for every photo you submit, including photos depicting another person. Do not submit content when you lack those rights and consent.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Velyune to break the law; violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights; create or distribute exploitative, abusive, deceptive, or harmful content; impersonate another person; probe or disrupt the service; bypass access, quota, or security controls; automate abusive requests; or help someone else do these things.

6. AI-generated results

AI generation is probabilistic. Results may be inaccurate, unexpected, similar to other outputs, or unsuitable for a real-world cosmetic decision. Velyune does not guarantee that a result will be accurate, flattering, unique, continuously available, or fit for a particular purpose. Review a result before saving or sharing it.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Velyune may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Available plans, billing periods, local prices, taxes, and included monthly edit allowances are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple account. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before renewal. You can restore eligible purchases and manage or cancel a subscription through Apple’s subscription settings. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

8. Velyune intellectual property

The Velyune name, website, app, interfaces, text, graphics, code, preset system, and other service materials are owned by Velyune or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant permission to copy or use Velyune branding outside normal use of the service.

9. Feedback

If you send feedback, you permit Velyune to use it without restriction or compensation, provided this does not give Velyune ownership of your photos or private support content.

10. Service changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features; impose reasonable limits; or restrict access when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, provider changes, or service operation. You may stop using Velyune at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Velyune is provided “as is” and “as available.” Velyune disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. These disclaimers do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Velyune is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will post revised Terms here and update the effective date. Continuing to use Velyune after revised Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
